Charming vintage aesthetic, Access to public transport, Vibrant local neighborhood
Noise from the pub disturbing sleep!!! Small room size felt cramped for two!!! Creaky floorboards made for uncomfortable late-night hours!!! Lack of air conditioning left me sweating in the heat!!! Steep stairs could pose a risk with heavy luggage!!!

Had a lovely stay and really appreciated the cozy, clean single room and the delicious Sunday roast! There was a nice terrace to kick back with a drink and enjoy the fresh air. A charming little garden for some quiet time. Just a heads-up, the WiFi was a bit spotty, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. 🍻

Solo travelers best find
I really enjoyed my stay, the room had plug points where you need them and the shower was excellent. They provided a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee, which was a lifesaver after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, still acceptable overall.

The stay was enjoyable, with a delightful surprise of local pastries available. The rooms were spacious and quiet, allowing for restful nights. some small towels in the bathroom were inconvenient, and the shower head needed cleaning due to limescale build-up. The communal areas showed minor wear but didn’t detract from an overall comfortable experience.

Location's a major plus, just a quick stroll to the Hackney Empire. The pub down below serves solid food with a 20% discount , which made for a tasty dinner. The room was clean and comfortable, featuring a brand new bathroom.
Noise from the pub can be a nuisance, especially on weekends. vibrations from the bass might keep light sleepers awake. The shower pressure leaves something to be desired, not the most powerful. I also found the hairdryer cord annoyingly short, constantly pulling out the plug. Plus, internet connectivity issues with the smart TV meant I had to rely on my phone for entertainment, which isn’t ideal after a long day.

Had a blast with friends visiting a concert nearby! The staff were super friendly and the location was perfect for public transport. The pub downstairs had amazing food and we enjoyed a nice discount. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Just a heads up, there’s no air conditioning, so it can get warm.
The only downside was that our room was a bit small for the four of us, but it was manageable.
